Choirospilia Cave in Evgyros

South of the village of Evgyros, a cave revealed traces of Neolithic human activity. Archaeologist Wilhelm Dörpfeld believed it could be linked to the myth of Eumaeus, the swineherd from the Odyssey. The name “Choirospilia” (Pig Cave) reflects this legend. A destination full of mystery and adventure.
