You will find the Old Plane Tree in Kontarena, on the main road, in the first village towards Nidri / Lefkas. In summer, however, guests sit in the shade of plane leaves even longer. In winter, you can eat well and long at the few tables in the restaurant. The atmosphere is relaxed and informal. The hospitality of Spiros and Stamata and their families has been well known for years.

In the Old Plane Tree they have a passion for authentic Greek products. And what is more authentic than a homemade, traditional food prepared with pure, regional ingredients and products! They process the regional food as fresh as the morning dew and arrange it artfully on the plates. The meat comes, what else would you expect, from formerly happy animals.

Above all, the wine list offers drops of best origin. For example, the organic wines of Siflogo. The local grapes of the island, Vertzami and Vardea are picked and processed by hand and then age in French oak barrels. You better hurry, because the number of bottles is limited.
