Monastery of Saint John Rodaki

Located in Rodaki, this unique monastery was built in the 17th century on the foundations of an ancient Doric temple dedicated to Demeter. Pagan and Christian elements blend harmoniously: the altar stands on an ancient column, and architectural fragments decorate the courtyard. Tradition says that couples praying here were blessed with children. The view of Vasiliki and the mountains is breathtaking.
